Hello, Buckhorn neighbors,
On Saturday afternoon, a resident’s camera picked up the
image of a young male stealing a bicycle that was on the
resident’s front porch. This happened in the 2400 block
of Cedarcrest Place on the north side of Buckhorn. The
bicycle was later found on the side of the street at the
corner.
We are attaching two photos for you to view in the hope
that you or your children can identify the youth who stole
the bicycle. Please contact your Buckhorn HOA and
Neighborhood Watch team at BEHA@buckhorn.us with any
information you have regarding this thief as well as his
friend who was accompanying him.
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO MINIMIZE THEFT AT YOUR
HOUSE?
Be sure your outside vehicles are locked when you exit
them. Leave no desirable items in view in your locked
vehicle. Temptation is a powerful emotion.
Keep your garage closed when you are not in the
immediate area.
Keep the doors and windows to your home locked.
Do not leave sporting goods, toys, yard tools, or lawn
equipment outside and unattended.
It only takes seconds for a person on foot or exiting a
vehicle to take anything easily accessible to them on your
lawn, out of your unlocked vehicle, or out of your open
garage and make it their property; and away they go!
If you experience any crime at your residence, please
report it immediately to the Sheriff at 813-247-8200,
non-emergency, or 911 if needed.
Also, please notify your Buckhorn HOA and Neighborhood Watch at
www.buckhorn.us immediately afterward so we can assist
you and the Deputies as required.
BE VIGILANT, BE CURIOUS, BE SUSPICIOUS, AND ACT
ON YOUR OBSERVATIONS IMMEDIATELY!
Respectfully,
Buckhorn HOA and Neighborhood Watch
