Attend County Human Trafficking Event
The Hillsborough County Commission on Human Trafficking invites you to this free event designed to help you better understand human trafficking and how it is happening in our neighborhoods. This community conversation features seven local experts, four of whom are Survivor Leaders. Human trafficking is different from what you see in the movies and may not always look the way you think it does. Knowing how to recognize the signs and take action matters.
Did you know that Hillsborough County reported the highest number of human trafficking offenses in Florida, with 143 cases and 81 arrests between 2021 and 2024? This stark reality underscores the importance of our upcoming town hall event, where we will learn how to recognize and respond to human trafficking in our neighborhoods. Your participation is vital to making our community safer and more informed.
