Announcement - Important Update Regarding Buckhorn HOA Dues and Community Programs

  • 2 min read

Dear Buckhorn Neighbors,

At the Buckhorn HOA 2026 Annual Membership Meeting held on April 18, residents discussed the HOA’s programs, operating costs, and annual budget. Following discussion from the floor, approximately 95% of attending members voted in favor of increasing annual HOA dues from $35 to $50 per year, effective immediately.

The increase amounts to approximately $1.25 per month per household and is necessary to help offset rising operating costs, insurance, printing, security expenses, storage, and community programming costs that have increased significantly due to inflation.

Updated dues information:

  • Annual dues: $50

  • Two-year payment option: $95 (includes a $5 discount)

  • Online payments require a $2 credit card processing fee

  • Late Fee of $3

One of the goals of the Buckhorn HOA is to provide residents with a strong sense of community while helping preserve and improve our neighborhood. Even with the increase, Buckhorn HOA dues remain substantially lower than many nearby communities:

  • Buckhorn Preserve — $345

  • Buckhorn Run — $240

  • Lithia Oaks — $240

  • Bloomingdale Cove — $480

  • Buckhorn Oaks — $240

  • Twin Lakes — $1,140

  • River Hills — $2,600

  • Bloomingdale Ridge — $276

  • Valencia Lakes — $600

In addition to maintaining neighborhood standards and supporting community safety initiatives, Buckhorn HOA provides a wide variety of events, activities, and neighborhood improvements for residents and families.
